The stage at Asbury Lanes ignited on Sunday, June 15, 2025, as Rockit Academy musicians delivered their “ROYALTY OF ROCK: Featuring Rock Legends plus a set of Queen Classics” spring session show. The high-energy performance, hailed by attendees as “one of Rockit’s best shows,” showcased a stellar selection of songs and powerful stage presence from the performers.

The evening kicked off with a dazzling debut from five students of the “LIVE TO ROCK” program. These aspiring young musicians, performing alongside seasoned Rockit Academy artists, absolutely “rocked” their version of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy,” setting an enthusiastic tone for the night.

The show also marked a bittersweet farewell for two of Rockit Academy’s graduating seniors, David Jannuzzelli and Stephanos Tsompanidis, who both crushed their sendoff show.

“Rock Royalty” was truly honored throughout the performance. Highlights included Chris Wilson bringing explosive energy to Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Trolls” and Luke Ireland’s theatrical rendition of Alice Cooper’s “Elected”. The performers’ impressive costumes and dynamic stage presence further elevated the show, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained and in agreement that it was a standout performance.

The Rockit Academy, renowned for its electrifying tributes to iconic bands, continues its mission of showcasing young musical talent and keeping the spirit of rock and roll alive for new generations.

For those who missed the electrifying premiere, or for anyone eager to relive the experience, an encore performance of the “ROYALTY OF ROCK” show is scheduled for July 13th at 7 PM at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club.
