At Rockit Academy, our mission has always been simple yet powerful: nurture raw talent, instill discipline, and empower the next generation of world-class musicians. Today, we couldn’t be prouder to see that mission step into the national spotlight once again as our very own Mia Knight takes the stage as a contestant on NBC’s The Voice!
Mia’s incredible journey on The Voice marks a major milestone for our program: she is officially the 4th Rockit Alumni to earn a spot on the iconic show, following in the footsteps of powerhouse alumni who have used Rockit as a launching pad to national and global careers.
Before captivating judges and television audiences across the country, Mia honed her powerhouse vocals, stage presence, and musicianship right here at Rockit Academy. A standout student, Mia earned a coveted spot as a vocalist in GROOVIN’, Rockit’s elite Eddie Brigati Honors Scholarship band. Mentored directly by Rockit Artist Advisory Board Member, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and Rascals co-founder, Eddie Brigati, Mia and her GROOVIN’ bandmates took on classic soul and rock hits, even taking their talents to the legendary Atlantic Records studios to record.
Watching Mia command the stage on The Voice is a testament to her unrelenting work ethic, passion, and the immersive artist development ecosystem we cultivate at Rockit. From masterclasses and live ensemble performances to recording in iconic studios, our young artists gain real-world industry experience long before they step onto global stages.
Mia’s success is a shining light for every student who walks through our doors with a dream and an instrument. She represents the d of what Rockit Academy stands for: community, excellence, and the transformative power of live music education.
Please join all of us at Rockit Academy in cheering on Mia Knight as she continues her journey on The Voice! We couldn’t be prouder to watch our Rockit family shine on the world’s biggest stages.
