The Rockit Academy brought pure rock and roll energy to the Monmouth County Fair on July 26, 2026, leaving the crowd under the big tent completely in awe.
A highlight included Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Rockit Artist Advisory Board member Eddie Brigati, alongside his wife Susan, joining 12 of Rockit’s exceptionally talented student musicians on stage. Taking on a hands-on mentorship role during the performance, Brigati jammed right alongside the young artists. Inspired by his guidance, the ensemble delivered a high-octane set filled with powerful vocals, blistering guitar solos, and tight rhythm arrangements that had fairgoers smiling, dancing, and singing along from start to finish.
“Having Eddie on stage mentoring our students in real time created an unforgettable experience, and our young musicians gave it everything they had,” said the Rockit Academy team. “Performing under the big tent alongside a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is a big deal!”
The performance showcased not only the students’ hard work and dedication, but also the transformative power of direct mentorship from industry legends. The Rockit Live Foundation remains dedicated to connecting the next generation of live performers with legendary artists, nurturing young talent through music education and legendary performance opportunities.
