The local music community gathered at Triumph Brewing Company last night for a sold-out showcase that blended intimate acoustic performances with the raw, behind-the-scenes narratives that bring songs to life.
The “Songs and Stories” event, presented by River Jam Music, offered patrons a rare look into the songwriting process. The evening featured a distinguished roster of artists, including Reagan Richards, Gordon Brown, James Maddock, and Rockit Advisory Board member Ricky Byrd.
For those in attendance, the performance provided more than just entertainment; it underscored the ongoing commitment to music education and community development.
Representatives from the Rockit Live Foundation—including Executive Director Bruce Gallipani, Ruby Gallipani, and Board Member Meg Ricard—were present to support River Jam’s mission. The night served as a poignant reminder of how music acts as a catalyst for connecting the community and fostering the next generation of performers.
As the final notes faded, the event stood as a testament to the thriving arts scene in Red Bank, reinforcing the vital role that local organizations play in keeping music at the forefront of the cultural landscape.
