For Maddie, music has always been more than just notes on a page—it is a passion driven by years of dedication, practice, and heart. That relentless hard work reached a milestone moment when she was named the very first recipient of the Brigati Family Harmony Scholarship.
The award carries deep personal meaning for Maddie, honoring not just her talent, but the bond formed with the mentor who helped shape her path.
“It was an honor to receive the Brigati Family Harmony Scholarship,” Maddie shared. “It’s a blessing that all the hard work and dedication I’ve put into music was recognized by the most impactful mentor that I’ve had.”
Throughout her journey with the Rockit Live Foundation, Maddie found far more than a place to hone her craft. When asked to capture the essence of the program in three words, she did not hesitate: “Life-changing, family, and rewarding.”
That sense of family extends beyond the stage and into the home. For Maddie’s parents, Heather and Larry, watching her growth through Rockit has been about much more than mastering an instrument—it has been about watching their daughter step into her own strength.
“Rockit has helped Maddie build confidence in herself as a musician and leader, which carries over into all aspects of her life,” they reflected. “It’s also given her an extended family that we are so grateful for!”
With this scholarship powering her forward, Maddie is just getting started. She plans to pursue music in college and intends to keep playing and songwriting a cornerstone of her life for years to come.
