ASBURY PARK, NJ — Following an explosive, acclaimed premiere performance, the talented young musicians of Rockit Live Academy returned to the Asbury Park boardwalk on Sunday, July 12th, taking the stage at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club for a special encore presentation of their spring showcase, “EAST COAST MEETS WEST COAST: Rock and Pop Essentials.”
Set against the panoramic backdrop of the Atlantic coastline, the intimate supper club proved to be the perfect setting for Rockit’s rising stars to shine. The sold-out audience was treated to an extraordinary musical journey bridging two distinct soundscapes that shaped American rock and pop culture—from the gritty grit and driving rhythms of New York and New Jersey to the sun-soaked harmonies and laid-back grooves of California.
The July 12th encore brought non-stop energy from start to finish. With sharp vocal harmonies, soaring guitar solos, and tight rhythm sections, the student bands demonstrated not only their technical skill, but also a deep artistic maturity beyond their years.“The talent and growth on display at Tim McLoone’s was nothing short of inspiring,” said Bruce Gallipani, Founder and Executive Director of the Rockit Live Foundation. “An encore performance gives young musicians a unique chance to refine their craft and truly own the stage.”
