Rockit Sings for Cancer Patients
Twenty young musicians from Rockit performed at Camp Quality, an entirely volunteer-driven camp for kids with cancer. Camp Quality provides year-round services to cancer patients at no cost. Rockit was grateful to bring a day of song and dance to everyone on hand. Twenty members of Rockit head down by bus to Blairstown.

Rockit meets Shontelle
Motown recording artist Shontelle appeared at Dance-A-Thon on June 3, an event sponsored by the Count Basie Theatre Junior Board. Proceeds from Dance-A-Thon support the Count Basie Theatre’s booking of concerts and performances for young concert-goers. Rockit provided sponsorship for the evening’s program. Rockit Hits High-Level Energy
Rockit showed their versatility with covers from Joplin to Michael Jackson in a action-packed show at The Basie! The performance showcased several singers on stage together showing the range of styles they can master.
Rockit Meets David Rosenthal
The Middletown Public Library was the scene for Rockit’s monthly free performance. Keyboardist and producer David Rosenthal was on hand to listen to the music and speak to those in attendance. Rosenthal has been on ten world tours with Billy Joel and Elton John and currently working with Steve Vai.
New Year’s Eve Bash with Southside Johnny
Rockit opened the 2010 New Year’s Eve show for Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes at Count Basie Theatre. A full house were mesmerized by Rockit’s 50-minute set!
