Rockit Academy Inspires Students in LIVE TO ROCK Program

Young musicians participating in the Rockit Live Foundation’s free after-school enrichment program, LIVE TO ROCK, at Red Bank Middle School (RBMS) received a special treat as two Rockit Academy scholarship recipients, Maddie Freedman and Ashley Siciliano, visited their class.

In a wonderful display of mentorship, Freedman and Siciliano joined instructor Brittany Iafelice’s class, generously sharing their performance expertise with the eager young students. They offered valuable advice and even performed alongside the middle schoolers, bringing an extra spark of excitement to the room. The highlight of their visit was a collaborative performance of Pharrell Williams’ hit song, “Happy,” leaving both students and mentors with smiles. The LIVE TO ROCK program is gearing up for an exciting performance: RBMS students will take the stage at Asbury Lanes on June 15th, joining an academy band for one song during the Rockit “Royalty of Rock” session concert!

This experience not only brought joy and inspiration to the young musicians but also provided a unique opportunity for them to collaborate with and learn from more experienced peers. The Rockit Live Foundation continues to foster musical talent and create memorable experiences for aspiring artists.
