Rockit Academy congratulates musician Madison Decker who has been named the inaugural recipient of a $5,000 scholarship, generously funded by Rockit Live Foundation Mission Partner, Patricia Gaines. This honor recognizes Madison’s exceptional dedication to her artistic pursuits, her active involvement in community service, and her consistent demonstration of teamwork – qualities that embody the mission of the Rockit Live Foundation.
Madison takes the qualifications for this scholarship seriously, recognizing that her strong work ethic comes from her mother and late father who “both set an excellent example of ‘hard work pays off’… [that] inspires me every day to do what I need to do when it comes to my interests and work.” Madison hopes to eventually inspire others through the therapeutic power of music.
This full-year enrollment includes private instruction, band rehearsals, session fees, and invaluable live performance experiences. A second $5,000 Patricia Gaines Scholarship will be awarded in September of 2025. To learn more about this generous scholarship, please click here.
