Thanks to the continued generosity of Rockit’s esteemed Godmother and Godfather, Stevie and Maureen Van Zandt, Brendan McGreevy and Steven Jacob have been awarded the prestigious Stevie and Maureen Van Zandt Scholarship for the spring session. Each valued at $5,000, this comprehensive scholarship provides a year of private instruction, band rehearsals, session fees, and invaluable live performance experiences.
Brendan and Steven were selected for their exceptional talent, unwavering passion, consistent hard work, dedication to community service, and commitment to reaching their full artistic potential – all qualities that deeply resonate with the Rockit Live Foundation’s mission.
Expressing his gratitude, Steven noted, “I have learned so much in private lessons, in the room rehearsing, and even on stage.” Brendan echoed this sentiment, stating, “Rockit changed everything for me. It helped me find what makes me special.” Both recipients are committed to pursuing careers in live music and recording.
