Thanks to the incredible generosity of Stevie and Maureen Van Zandt, the Godmother and Godfather of Rockit Live Foundation, four exceptional Rockit Academy students will annually receive a transformative scholarship. This full-year enrollment, valued at $5,000 per student, encompasses private instruction, band rehearsals, session fees, and invaluable live performance experiences.
The Rockit Live Foundation is thrilled to celebrate Maddie Freeman and Ashley Siciliano as the first beneficiaries of this remarkable opportunity. Both talented musicians are deeply honored by this recognition and envision a future deeply intertwined with music. Maddie expressed, “It felt so validating to be recognized for the hard work that I’ve put in over the years, and it was an honor to share this with Ashley, who is also incredibly dedicated. I was genuinely overjoyed when I heard the news!” Ashley shared her aspiration to “inspire others to showcase their talent and explore new possibilities” through her performances, a direct reflection of her Rockit experience.
The legacy of this scholarship will continue in spring 2025, when two more deserving Rockit Academy musicians will be awarded this extraordinary support for their passion, talent, consistent hard work, and commitment to achieving their full artistic potential while embodying the Rockit Live Foundation’s mission.
